Throughout his career, George devoted a significant portion of his practice to the representation of owners, contractors and major subcontractors in construction disputes totaling over $200 million. George is very familiar with and has extensively litigated claims for delay, disruption and acceleration as well as cases involving major construction defects and failures. In 2016 George served as Chair of the State Bar of Texas Construction Law Section and on the Construction Law Council for the Section from 2001-2004. He has also been a speaker on numerous occasions in bar meetings and at the Annual Construction Law Conference for the State Bar of Texas. He was named as the Construction Lawyer of the Year for Dallas by the publication Best Lawyers in America in 2015.
In addition to construction disputes George has tried breach of contract, patent infringement, copyright and securities cases. As an arbitrator George has sat on dozens of commercial arbitration panels for the AAA and ICDR. George was a contributing author to The Anatomy of a Patent Trial published by the Complex Litigation Committee of the American College of Trial Lawyers.
